The canvas material is prepared by stretching it onto a frame or mounting it onto a flat surface to create a stable printing substrate. UV ink, which contains special photo-initiators, is applied to the canvas surface using a digital printing process. The UV ink contains pigments or dyes that create the desired colors and image details. As the UV ink is applied to the canvas, it is exposed to UV light, which triggers a chemical reaction in the ink. This reaction causes the ink to solidify and bond to the canvas surface almost instantly. The UV curing process is crucial for creating durable and vibrant prints. After printing and curing, the canvas may undergo additional finishing processes, such as coating or stretching, to enhance its appearance and durability. UV printing offers excellent color accuracy, sharpness, and fine detail reproduction, making it suitable for reproducing artworks and photographs.
